Satellite applications for governments
The province of South-Holland in the Netherlands and the Netherlands Space Office is hosting an inspiration session for Dutch governmental bodies on using satellite earth observation data. Governmental bodies will be invited to contribute by sharing ideas on challenges and satellite use (via a survey), joining the buyers group as follower cities, or piloting solutions as replicator cities. After the introduction, four companies will present use cases of satellite data products, leading into a workshop where participants will explore how space technology can address challenges in their cities or regions.
The City of Amsterdam will introduce the SPACE4Cities project and invite other cities and regions to participate. The City of Amsterdam is represented by Boen Groothoff, who is speaking in the event. If you want to get in touch with Boen and SPACE4Cities, you can send email to b.groothoff@amsterdam.nl.
